CRUZADA SANITARISTA

Essas ilustrações foram feitas para a abertura dos doze capítulos do livro Cruzada Sanitarista de 1924. O livro apresenta discursos de Amaury de Medeiros (1893-1928), médico sanitarista que desenvolveu diversas ações na saúde pública no estado de Pernambuco. Nessas imagens produzidas por Heinrich Moser, em uma cor sóbria, percebe-se em seu estilo o uso do alto contraste, na qual a noção de luz e sombra é dada com uma habilidade impressionante pelos seus traços.
 

These illustrations were made for the opening of the twelve chapters of the book Cruzada Sanitarista of 1924. The book presents speeches pronounced by Amaury de Medeiros (1893-1928), a physician who developed several actions on the public health in the State of Pernambuco. In these images produced by Heinrich Moser, in a sober color, we can see the high contrast in his style, where the notion of light and shadow is given with an impressive skill by his drawing traces.
